No. We plan corporate events, fundraisers, proposals, fancy date nights, destination weddings, showers. Whatever your planning needs, we can handle it!
Pricing is all customizable. It all depends on how much help you need. Are you interested in the full planner package, part-planning, or just a day-of-coordinator?
No. We have several Hickory Wedding Venue locations with a well-working relationship, but we will work wherever you need us.
We do weddings all over this great Southern States! We do weddings in Hickory, Morganton, Blowing Rock, Boone, Charlotte, Greensboro, Wilmington, Moravian Falls, etc. We go where you need us!
We have multiple staff members. You will have one planner focused on your day. On your wedding day you will have no less than two coordinators. Depending on the size of your wedding, we can add as many as you may need.
Yes! One of the primary jobs of a planner is to find you the best pricing for everything. We can even save you money on decor by using decor we have from previous weddings!

Meet Tiffany
iffany’s journey into event planning began in 2016, when an old high school friend asked for her help planning a wedding. What she expected to be a fun, one-time experience quickly revealed a passion for bringing meaningful celebrations to life.
Following the success of that first wedding, Tiffany launched Hickory Wedding Planner in 2017. Since then, she has planned, coordinated, decorated, and officiated countless weddings and special events throughout the foothills of North Carolina. Her experience also includes managing wedding venues and serving as the primary contracted planner and coordinator for a local venue—giving her a unique understanding of events from both the client’s and venue’s perspectives.
Beyond weddings, Tiffany has planned and supported events for Chambers of Commerce, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community groups. Her experience ranges from leadership luncheons, fundraisers, and networking events to corporate gatherings and special celebrations. She has also provided seasonal decorating for local businesses, transforming their spaces into welcoming, beautifully styled environments for holidays and special seasons.
As her experience and vision grew, the business evolved into Southern Bliss Weddings + Events. Today, Tiffany leads her team with a calm presence, a love for beautiful details, and the belief that every celebration should feel personal to the people at the heart of it.
Known for being organized, honest, and always ready with a backup plan, Tiffany loves helping clients feel heard, cared for, and confident throughout the planning process. Whether she is coordinating a wedding, transforming a business, officiating a ceremony, or producing a corporate or community event, her goal is always the same: to handle the details so her clients can be fully present for the moments that matter most.
Meet Heather
Heather is the creative mind behind so much of the Southern Bliss magic. As co-owner and a wedding and event planner, she brings warmth, organization, and an incredible eye for detail to every celebration. She has a gift for seeing the potential in a space—or even an unexpected décor piece—and turning it into something beautiful and meaningful.
On event days, Heather is always thinking three steps ahead. She is the one calming nervous family members, fixing bridesmaids’ dresses, handling last-minute changes, and noticing the small details others may overlook. Her calm presence helps clients feel supported while she works behind the scenes to ensure everything is exactly as it should be.
Heather especially loves watching a couple’s vision come to life and designing the details that make each event feel personal. Her favorite wedding-day moment is the first look—that quiet, emotional moment when everything else seems to disappear. With lip gloss, a good iced coffee, and comfortable shoes close by, Heather is always ready to step in wherever she is needed and make something beautiful happen.
Meet Diana
Diana first became part of the Southern Bliss story as one of Tiffany’s brides. A few years later, when Tiffany found herself coordinating weddings for both her cousin and her best friend, she knew she needed someone dependable by her side—someone she trusted completely. Diana immediately came to mind.
Today, Diana serves as a planner and lead coordinator, bringing a calm, steady presence to even the busiest wedding days. She has a natural ability to anticipate what others need, solve problems behind the scenes, and keep every moving piece running smoothly. Whether she is wrangling a timeline, carrying an extra phone charger and snacks, or keeping Tiffany from losing her phone, Diana is always prepared.
She is also affectionately known as the team’s “Drapery Queen.” With an incredible amount of patience and an eye for detail, Diana can transform an ordinary space into something beautiful. She loves watching an event come together exactly as planned, but her favorite moment will always be those first few seconds after, “I now pronounce you…” when all the planning gives way to pure joy.
